The Big Laugh description
For the 4th year running, environmental charity Friends of the Earth’s comedy night - now rather more punchily rechristened The Big Laugh - brings gargantuan guffaws to the Eventim Apollo, and all in a very good cause.
The lineup includes comedy giants Greg Davies, Josh Widdicombe, Paul Chowdhry and Katherine Ryan, and the evening will be hosted by Patrick Kielty with headline music from Eliza Doolittle. More acts and special guests to be announced. All profits from the night will go towards Friends of the Earth's work to protect and preserve British bees.
Writer, actor and stand-up Greg Davies has a string of sell-out shows under his belt, including Nelly Nut Live!, Greg Davies: Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog, and Greg Davies Live: The Back of My Mum's Head. Josh Widdicombe's comedy CV includes Stand Up for the Week, Twit of the Year and Mock the Week.
Paul Chowdhry hosts the Channel 4 comedy series Stand Up for the Week, and has been a guest panelist on 8 out of 10 Cats and Comedy World Cup.
