In La Edad de Oro, Israel Galvan's takes flamenco dance and updates it with a postmodern, avant-garde twist. He has been described as the William Forsythe of Flamenco, both a rebel and a traditionalist famous for his complicated and incredibly fast footwork.
Considered a genius of his generation, Galvan has won many of flamenco's most prestigious awards including Spain's National Dance Prize.
